History

In the fall of 1989, Landmark opened its doors to 170 students in grades 7-12, in a warehouse in downtown Fayetteville. Landmark soon outgrew this facility and in 1991 purchased the current campus, the former Campbell High School, in Fairburn, GA . Since that time, Landmark’s Fairburn campus has grown to over 60 acres. In 2004, Landmark opened a second elementary campus on 18 acres in Peachtree City.

Campus:

Landmark's K4-12th grade Fairburn campus, in the center of historic Fairburn, Georgia, is easily accessible from I-85 and is located at the corner of Highway 92 and SE Broad Street. Our K4-5th grade Peachtree City campus, in south Fayette County, is located at the corner of Robinson and Crosstown Roads.

Our 60-acre Fairburn campus features 100,000 square feet of building space which includes classrooms; a media center; band and chorus facilities; science and computer labs; two gymnasiums; a black box theatre; and a cafeteria. The campus also offers two stadiums; football, baseball, soccer, and practice fields; as well as an eight-lane rubberized track.
Our 18-acre Peachtree City campus features 28,000 square feet of building space which includes classrooms, a media center and computer lab, and a multi-purpose 600-seat auditorium.

Enrollment:

Landmark’s current enrollment is over 800 students. Our board members, teachers, staff, and families represent over 180 churches. This diversity creates a rich, non-denominational Christian education culture.

Landmark is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) We are also members of ACSI, NACAC, SACAC, GHSA, and the College Board.

Semester System:

Landmark Christian School operates on a semester grading system. Middle and high school classes meet every day.
