Financial Information
Admission Decisions
At LCS, it is our mission to prepare all students to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Landmark is a college preparatory school and we encourage each child to strive for academic excellence. Admission is based on the student’s conduct, character, test scores, and past report cards. By September 1, candidates for K4 should have reached age 4, age 5 for K5, and age 6 for 1st grade. Please contact Tammy McCurry, Director of Admissions to receive an information/application packet. Application forms are also available online for K4-5th and 6th-12th grades.
Application
Candidates commonly begin the application process during February, with interviews beginning after March 1st. Notification of Acceptance for the following school year begins April 1st. Applications are available online or you may request an Information and Application packet.
Admissions Fee
A non-refundable fee of $100 must accompany each application.
Financial Aid
Limited funds are available from the school to help families in need of tuition assistance. Your application for admissions and application for financial aid are separate processes. Financial Aid is need-based and may be applied for by completing a financial aid application, which may be obtained by contacting the Business Office, 770-692-6751. The financial aid application processing fee is $15.
School Records
Authorization to Release Transcript forms are available online. Submit this form to the last school attended and they will mail it directly to Landmark.
References
Required reference forms are available online and include references to be completed by principals, pastors, and teachers.
Waiting Pool
Should all the positions in a grade be filled, Landmark may form a waiting pool. When candidates have completed the application process, including the interview, they will enter a waiting pool for the next available spot in their particular grade. If availability occurs, all candidates are brought back to the admissions committee for consideration.
Notification Date
Acceptance notification begins April 1st . The Admissions process, including receipt of application, recommendations, and transcripts, followed by an interview and Admissions Board decision, may take four to six weeks. Prospective families are strongly encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible after February 1.
Enrollment Contract
Students have been enrolled only when the annual Enrollment Contract has been signed by the financially responsible parties and by the school.
