Admission Decisions

At LCS, it is our mission to prepare all students to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Landmark is a college preparatory school and we encourage each child to strive for academic excellence. Admission is based on the student’s conduct, character, test scores, and past report cards. K4 students must be 4, K5 students must be 5 and 1st graders must be 6 by September 1 to enroll in that grade.

Campus Tour Information

Campus tours are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 at the Fairburn campus and on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 at the Peachtree City campus. These tours begin the first of October. Please call 770.306.0647 a day ahead to reserve a place.

Application

Candidates commonly begin the application process during November, with interviews beginning after January 1. Notification of acceptance for the following school year begins April 1.

Admissions Fee

A non-refundable fee of $100. must accompany each application.

Financial Aid

Limited funds are available from the school to help families in need of tuition assistance. Your application for admissions and application for financial aid are separate processes. Financial aid is need-based and may be applied for by completing a financial aid application, which may be obtained by accessing the following link:  www.sss.nais.org.

The Georgia GOAL Scholarship

Landmark Christian School's need-based tuition assistance program serves those families that are currently enrolled and have an identified financial need. Since the GOAL program serves new students, the school’s financial aid program will continue to operate as it has in the past. There is no conflict between the two. School Records

Authorization to Release Transcript forms* are available online.  Submit this form to the last school attended, and they will mail it directly to Landmark.

References

Required reference forms are available online and include references to be completed by principals, pastors, and teachers.

Waiting Pool

Should all the spaces in a grade be filled, Landmark may form a waiting pool. When candidates have completed the application process, including the interview, they will enter a waiting pool for the next available space in their particular grade. If an opening becomes available, all candidates are brought back to the Admissions Committee for consideration.

Notification Date

The admissions process, including receipt of application, recommendations, and transcripts,
followed by an interview and Admissions Committee decision, may take several weeks.
Prospective families are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible.

Enrollment Contract

Students are considered enrolled only after the annual Enrollment Contract has been signed by the financially responsible parent/guardian or designate and by the school and the enrollment deposit has been received in full.
