Lee Pollard has taught elementary art at Landmark since 2003. She received a BA from Auburn University in 1973. She also attended Penland School of Art to further train in teaching children art. She says, “I am always a student myself, so I am constantly learning new ways to get into the minds of children and teach art. I love to read and study books with art from famous artists and love painting a fascinating story about the artist in words.” Mrs. Pollard has taught in two other Christian schools, and is now in her 18th year of teaching. She loves the hearts of children and teaching them to create some of the beauty God created. |
