Elementary | Middle School | High School

ELEMENTARY UNIFORM INFORMATION
K-5 thru 5th grades

REQUIRED INFORMAL UNIFORM- ALL

  • Navy LCS polo shirt - SS or LS
  • Khaki pants, shorts, skirts or skorts.

REQUIRED DRESS/CHAPEL UNIFORM- BOYS (K5-5th )

  • Navy pants or shorts
  • White button-down oxford shirts, short or long sleeve
  • Navy vest w/crest or LCS logo
  • Plaid tie
  • Navy crew sock and dress shoes

REQUIRED DRESS/CHAPEL UNIFORM- GIRLS (K-5 thru 3rd )

  • Plaid jumper with LCS peter pan blouse, short or long sleeve
  • Navy crew socks and dress shoes

REQUIRED DRESS/CHAPEL UNIFORM - GIRLS (4th and 5th )

  • Plaid skirt
  • Short or long sleeve white button-down oxford cloth shirt
  • Floppy bow
  • Navy vest
  • Navy crew or knee sock with uniform shoes

UNIFORM ITEMS

SHIRTS

  • Polo shirts with the LCS crest or logo that are purchased from the School Store only.
    Colors: navy, white, light blue, yellow and dark green
  • Short and long-sleeved white, button-down oxford cloth shirts for boys and 4th and 5th grade girls
  • Short and long-sleeved LCS peter pan collar shirts for girls that are purchased from the School Store.

TURTLENECKS

  • White and navy LCS turtlenecks sold in the School Store
  • May only be worn under approved LCS logo sweatshirts, sweaters and jumpers.

JUMPERS, PANTS, SHORTS, CAPRIS, SKIRTS AND SKORTS

  • Plaid jumpers and all khaki and navy uniform items are to be purchased from J&R Clothing in Fayetteville or Buckhead Uniforms.
  • Shorts may be no shorter than three (3") inches above top of knee.
  • Skirts/skorts may be no shorter than two (2") inches above top of knee.

BELTS

  • Must be worn with any pant, short, capris or skort requiring a belt. Belt must be solid brown or black leather with no decorations. Belts can be braided or smooth leather. Belts can purchased from J&R Clothing in Fayetteville or Buckhead Uniforms.

SHOES

  • Solid white or solid black leather tennis shoes such as K-Swiss or Treton can be worn with uniform. Must be solid. These can be purchased from J&R Clothing in Fayetteville and Buckhead Uniforms.
  • Solid color penny loafers, leather bucs or mary janes with heels not exceeding 1 1/2 " must be worn for chapel. These can also be worn as desired during the week. These can be purchased from J&R Clothing in Fayetteville and Buckhead Uniforms.
  • No shoes with wheels are allowed at anytime.
    Colors: Brown, black or navy

SOCKS/TIGHTS

  • White socks must be worn with tennis shoes. Navy crew or knee socks can be worn with dress shoes. Girls may wear navy tights. Socks and tights can be purchased from the School Store or store of your choice.

SWEATSHIRTS

  • Any Landmark sweatshirt purchased from the School Store or from any LCS athletic team or organization with approved LCS logo. Uniform shirt or LCS turtleneck must be worn under all sweatshirts.

SWEATERS/VESTS

  • Only navy v-neck sweaters, vests or cardigans purchased from the School Store. Uniform shirt or LCS turtleneck must be worn underneath.

JACKETS/COATS

  • Navy windbreaker or fleece jacket with LCS logo can be purchased from J&R Clothing in Fayetteville.

ACCESSORIES - BOYS

  • Tie - Plaid ties for Boys' dress uniform can be purchased from the School Store.

ACCESSORIES - GIRLS

  • Floppy bows, hair bands, scrunchies and hairbows are sold in the School Store. Hair accessories can be purchased elsewhere as long as they compliment the LCS uniform.

PERSONAL GROOMING AND APPEARANCE

  • No pierced jewelry is allowed for boys on campus or at school-related functions.
  • Pierced jewelry for girls is limited to earrings with a maximum of 2 per ear.
  • Makeup is not allowed in elementary school.
  • Tattoos of any nature cannot be exposed on campus or at school-related functions.
  • Hair should always be clean, neat, and well groomed with no extreme haircuts or colors.
  • Boy's hair length can be no longer than to the collar or halfway down the ear. No ponytails, shaved areas, etc.
  • Hats are not to be worn in the school building.

DRESS-AS-YOU-LIKE-DAYS

Certain days during the year will be specified as Dress-As-You-Like Days. Students will be allowed to wear:

  • Shirts must have short, 3/4 or long sleeves and must be tucked in at all times (no tank tops)
  • Pants may include blue jeans / Capri length pants
  • Skirts / dresses must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee
  • Shorts must be no shorter than finger tip length (middle finger/arms straight down by sides)
  • Hats may be worn outside only
  • No sandals - Tennis shoes with socks are allowed
  • No inappropriate advertisements on clothing
  • When given the privilege of wearing non-uniform items including blue jeans, please remember that those items must not be tattered, cut off, frayed or have holes.
Any student unable to comply with these guidelines in part or whole may still wear uniform items on these days.

K4 UNIFORM INFORMATION 

K4 students are not required to wear uniforms except on certain days during the year including, but not limited to, field trips and picture day. They will then be required to wear the Informal Uniform which is as follows:

INFORMAL UNIFORM

  • Navy LCS polo shirt - SS or LS which can be purchased from the LCS School Store.
  • Any khaki pants, shorts, skirts or skorts which can be purchased from J&R Clothing in Fayetteville or Buckhead Uniforms.
  • Solid white or black tennis shoes with white socks.
  • Brown leather belt.

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL DRESS CODE 

REQUIRED INFORMAL UNIFORM

  • Navy LCS polo shirt – Short or long sleeve
  • Khaki pants, shorts, skirts or skorts

SHIRTS

  • Polo shirt with the LCS logo purchased only from the school store
    Colors:  white, navy, light blue, yellow, black, dark green

PANTS, SHORTS, CAPRIS, SKIRTS AND SKORTS

  • Docker-style pants, shorts, and capris—cotton or cotton-twill only—with fly front
  • Tailored with proper hem
  • No fraying or torn look; no carpenters, cargos or rivets
  • Pleated, straight, or A-line skirts/skorts—cotton or cotton-twill only                 
  • Shorts may be no shorter than three (3”) inches above the knee
  • Skirts/skorts may be no shorter than two (2”) inches above the knee
    Colors:  solid navy, khaki
