Impacting the World - Here at Home
Landmark students are committed to impacting the world for Jesus Christ, not only internationally, but also right here at home in our own community. This year the high school sponsored a Thanksgiving Food Basket drive and delivered 77 Thanksgiving "Boxes of Love" to families in our area. In December, the students collected money for gift cards and took 51 needy students from a local school Christmas shopping. Annually, we partner with Campbell Elementary School in Fairburn to support their March Math Extravaganza math fair day and each spring we host all of the Campbell Elementary kids at Landmark's Fairburn campus for a full day of field games and fun. Landmark's National Honor Society sponsors two blood drives a year, collecting 93 pints in this year's drives; and our Beta Club sponsored a project to begin a library in the Fayette County Jail. Over 500 inspirational, nonfiction, and nonviolent fiction books were collected for this new library.
