We believe in the value of reading over the summer, however, we recognize that travel logistics and scheduling conflicts can make taking AR summer reading tests difficult. Therefore, here is the revised requirement for summer reading:
1. Read a book that is on grade level. You may use the AR list to choose a book, but you are not required to do so. (See lists below.)
2. Read a book that is appropriate for school and fill out the corresponding form. Both student and parents are required to sign the form stating that the work is that of the student.
3. Turn in the form the first day of class for summer reading credit.
