Impacting the World

Serving others is an integral part of a Landmark education. Elementary, middle, and high school students serve others in the classroom and beyond participating in multiple service projects throughout the school year. Encouraging a family through illness or tragedy, maintaining a community garden, providing food and supplies to low-income students, packing food boxes at Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping with children of families with little resources, working at food pantries, hosting a field day for a local elementary, helping with inner-city missions, providing disaster relief, and serving as there is need, our students are learning to give more than they receive.

Landmark currently offers five school-sponsored international mission trips for our high school students to participate. During fall break Landmark students travel to Mexico to build a house for a family in need. Over winter break, students travel to schools in Kenya, to Haiti to a home for abandoned or runaway boys, and to Romania to an orphanage. Over spring break, a team travels to the remote mountains of Honduras to provide hope and support to the severely impoverished. During these trips, students work to provide comfort in words and actions, share the Gospel, and reach beyond the classroom not only impacting others but most often returning home with a life-changing experience. Our students are trained and equipped so they can practically and effectively impact the world for Jesus Christ.
