Peachtree City Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase Winners

Landmark Middle and High School Art Students recently participated in the Peachtree City Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase. To participate, students had to be members of Key Club or be residents of Fayette County. Several Landmark students won in various categories.

Landmark Middle and High School Art Students recently participated in the Peachtree City Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase. To participate, students had to be members of Key Club or be residents of Fayette County. Mrs. Eden had five students enter and they placed as follows. In 6th grade, Charlotte Wilson won 1st place and her piece will go to District to compete for the statewide competition and Aubrey Cruetzinger won 2nd place. In the 7th-8th grade category, Aliya Applin won first place and her work will be going on to district to compete for the statewide competition. Seventh grader, Sara Mullis, won 2nd place and her work will also compete in district. Joelle Cruver, 9th grade, won 2nd place, and her work will also compete in the district competition. In the 3D category, Mrs. Gilkeson's 11th grade student, Haydon Hall took first place for his ceramic's piece. Landmark swept the Photography division with Mrs. Parfitt's Photo 3-4 student participants. 11th grader, Lindsey Swearngin won first place, and her work will compete in the district competition. Trista Xu , 11th grade won 2nd place, and 11th grader Jenny Goodwin won 3rd place. Congratulations students! Way to represent!
