Landmark Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Mollie Mayfield in the newly created role of Chief Financial and Operating Officer. This role will work directly with the Head of School to provide strength to our school’s infrastructure in the areas of business operations, facilities maintenance and construction, technology, security, transportation, and food services.

Mayfield has a degree in Business Administration from Kennedy Western University and is a licensed Realtor. She comes to Landmark with successful experience at multiple levels of school leadership including 25 years at Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia Tech Athletics. While at Georgia Tech, Mayfield served in roles as Associate Athletic Director over finance, taxes, legal and risk management, human resources, facility construction projects, sport oversight and finally as the Deputy Director of Title IX for the campus. She also served for eight years with The Main Street Academy Fulton County Charter School (K-8) in the roles of Vice President, Treasurer, and President. During her volunteer role with Main Street, she provided leadership in finance, facility construction, and acquisition, personnel hiring, and review of academic standards. Mayfield’s sharp business acumen also draws from ownership of MKRC Properties and Simmons Investment Holdings, real estate investment, and property management companies.

Dr. Jason McMaster, Head of School for Landmark Christian welcomes Mayfield, “I am thrilled to announce Mollie Mayfield as the Landmark Chief Financial and Operating Officer. Her depth and breadth of professional skills and experience strengthen the leadership team and improve our school’s position in many areas.”

Mayfield said, “We have been part of the Landmark parent community for the last ten years and had felt called to serve at a greater level for some time. I thought it would be in a voluntary capacity but God had other plans. God has blessed me with many opportunities to serve Him over the years and I look forward to continuing my service here at Landmark.”

Mayfield and her husband, Bob Mayfield have five children; the youngest two are at Landmark Christian: Mary Katherine (10th grade) and Robert (7th grade). Additionally, Mayfield is involved in the church council, is the finance chair and is on the governing board of the church preschool for the College Park First United Methodist Church.
