Eric Burdette, Landmark Christian School Class of 2010, recently received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Outstanding Ability in Trial Advocacy from Emory Law, an award to a graduating Emory Law student demonstrating outstanding trial advocacy. Eric Burdette graduated Landmark in 2010, Harvard in 2014, and Emory Law in 2020. Shown is Eric and his fiance, Dr. Emily Goggins. Due to COVID-19, their original wedding date was postponed from April 11 at Callanwolde Fine Arts in Atlanta to a small, less than ten, backyard wedding planned for May 22 with Eric's dad officiating.

Eric's mom, Marsha Burdette says, "It was a tough blow, no Law School Graduation, no Medical School Graduation and No Cinderella wedding but, keeping it all in perspective, all diplomas received, both graduated in the top 10% of their class, and they are happy and healthy."

Eric and Emily are moving to Boston for Emily to start residency June 1. Mrs. Bardette continues, "Please be in prayer, we are a little concerned about them heading into the war zone. Emily will be a resident at Harvard's Brigham hospital. They have postponed the Bar, so Eric is hopeful to take the Bar in the fall."

We congratulate Eric on his outstanding achievements at Landmark, Harvard, and Emory. May you continue to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Our prayers and best wishes extend to Eric and Emily.
