Landmark Students Spreads Jesus's Loving Kindness During Quarantine

I just wanted to take a minute to share how grateful we are for Coach White’s 7th grade Bible - Kindness Challenge. I just wanted to take a minute to share how grateful we are for Coach White’s 7th grade Bible - Kindness Challenge. Our daughter has woken up each morning excited to spread Jesus’s loving-kindness with our neighbors. Quarantine has been a creative catalyst! It keeps Charlotte thinking creatively and focusing on putting the needs of others ahead of her own. Especially during times of hardship - 62+ days of social isolation and quarantine - it keeps our spirits up and hopefully brightens up the days of neighbors as well.

Charlotte’s chalked cheery messages on driveways throughout the neighborhood, cultivated plant cuttings from the garden to pot and share with neighbors, written over 50 cards, read stories to kindergarten classes via zoom, ‘babysat’ / entertained little kids via FaceTime, walked neighbors dogs, helped injured animals, built things out of recycled materials, baked and delivered side dishes - cakes, brownies & cookies and been a help around the house.

We thank you, Landmark! For being a community growing in Christlikeness - for nurturing and guiding our children! We love you!
