Milton Campbell Joins Landmark Christian as Director of Track and Field & Cross Country, Head Track and Field Coach, and Christian Life Faculty
Mr. Milton Cambell is a native of Atlanta, Ga. He matriculated through the Atlanta Public Schools System and graduated with honors. While in high school he excelled in track and field and was the Georgia Gatorade Athlete of the year. He is a five-time state champion, a state record holder, a national record holder, and a world champion. These accolades earned him a full scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
While at UNC, he became one of the most decorated athletes in the school’s history and ACC history. During his collegiate career, he won eleven ACC Championships, two NCAA championships, set several ACC records, and one national collegiate record. He also led the UNC track team as team captain and to several conference titles. He was inducted into the UNC-CH Hall of Fame, class of 2006.
After college, Campbell pursued his dream of competing professionally. During this career, he represented Team USA at six world championships. He is a three-time world champion, three-time world silver medalist. He won several USATF national championships and helped anchor the USA 4x400m relay team to a world record. He was ranked top 10 in the world and the USA numerous times throughout his professional career.
Campbell earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Arts in Leadership from Luther Rice University. He is an accomplished track and field coach as well. Starting at his alma mater, Frederick Douglass High School (Atlanta, Ga), Campbell coached several state champions and record holders. He has been instrumental in coaching at the youth level and working with collegiate athletes. He has coached several state regional and national champions through his local track club and around the Metro Atlanta area. Campbell has a passion to help students maximize their potential and has helped numerous student-athletes earn Division I scholarships to top-tier universities.

Campbell is an author, sought-after speaker and presently serves as Lead Pastor of The Midtown Bridge Church of Atlanta. However, all of this is secondary to his greatest passion, loving God and leading his family. He is married to Christina, who is an accomplished athlete in her own right. She is a graduate of Georgia Tech and has a law degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She currently runs her own law practice specializing in adoption law. They have two adventurous and athletic daughters, Malia (8th grader) and Moriah (6th grader), who are students at Landmark Christian and have been part of the Landmark family for the past nine years.
