Fifth Grade Landmark Student Talks About GOAL

Fifth-grader Shane Lee knows what it means to pay state taxes. As a session singer in California, he has been paying CA state taxes since the first grade. So when he explains GOAL in this short video he made with his dad's smartphone, he truly understands the simplicity and beauty of redirecting what people owe in taxes to scholarship Landmark students.

So when he explains GOAL in this short video he made with his dad's smartphone, he truly understands the simplicity and beauty of redirecting what people owe in taxes to scholarship Landmark students.
 
Last year at Landmark, only 40 people/businesses participated in GOAL which provided $66,000 in scholarship funds for lower-income applicants. That's $66,000 that generous people already owed in taxes to the state of Georgia. All they did was redirect their money. Landmark's "goal" is to have at least 300 people/businesses redirect they tax dollars, regardless of the amount. It literally takes less than three minutes to sign up online.
