A rewarding education sparks a life of impact

Landmark students step into college ready to live out their faith, equipped to lead well, and prepared to steward God’s unique purpose for their lives. Through world-class education, focused leadership development, and personalized college planning, students are prepared to impact their campus and communities for Christ.

Academic Excellence

At the heart of our high school curriculum is a commitment to academic excellence. Our experienced and passionate faculty members guide students through a challenging curriculum that promotes critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a deep understanding of various subjects. With a focus on integrating faith and learning, our students develop a strong foundation in both their academic studies and their spiritual journey.

We believe in nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Our high school program emphasizes holistic development, encouraging students to explore their God-given talents, interests, and passions. Through a diverse range of extracurricular activities, clubs, and leadership opportunities, students have the chance to develop their character, build meaningful relationships, and cultivate their unique gifts.

Distinctive Programs

Academy Scholars

Landmark’s Academy Scholars Program is distinct for its reliance upon self-directed learning, design thinking, and iterative process, and the product of an extensive portfolio demonstrating learning (e.g., original compositions and productions in music academy, R&D portfolio/prototypes in engineering).

With focus on computer-aided design (CAD), and 3D printing.

Visual & Media Arts

With concentrations in film, music production, fashion design, and visual arts.

Aviation

Acquire the knowledge, hands-on experience, and industry connections needed to thrive as a skilled pilot in today's dynamic aerospace industry.

Impact Leadership Training

This program is designed to challenge and equip students to take their leadership to the next level.  Our mission at Landmark is “every student prepared to impact the world for Jesus Christ”.  This program helps them to become laser-focused on their potential impact.

Leadership at its core is influence.  We believe that all of our students have influence and our role is to help them learn how to leverage and steward it for God’s glory.  Through Impact Leadership Training, students will learn through seminars; organizing and leading service projects; exposure to outdoor adventure experiences; field training, and possible internships.  These experiences will come together to help forge them into better all-around leaders.

Students will learn things like time management, strength analysis, goal setting, impact training, how to execute, and other valuable tools they will need as leaders.

Arts

We recognize the importance of artistic expression in glorifying God and celebrating the beauty of His creation. Our high school offers a vibrant arts program encompassing visual arts, media arts, and performing arts. Students have the opportunity to express their creativity, develop their talents, and use their artistic gifts to worship, inspire others, and bring glory to God.

Athletics

We pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive and enriching sports experience that combines the pursuit of athletic excellence with the values and teachings of Jesus Christ. Our program fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where students can develop their athletic skills, strengthen their character, and grow their faith. With a wide range of sports options, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track and field, our dedicated coaches provide expert training and guidance to help our student-athletes reach their full potential. Whether they aspire to compete at the highest level or enjoy the benefits of physical activity, our athletics program at Landmark instills discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship in every participant, empowering them to become well-rounded individuals on and off the field.

Community and Service

Grounded in Christian values, we inspire our students to serve others and make a positive impact on the world around them. Our high school offers numerous service opportunities, allowing students to engage with local and global communities, address social issues, and demonstrate Christ’s love through acts of kindness, compassion, and service.

Advisory

Advisory groups provide each high school student with a small community group where they are known, encouraged, prayed for, and discipled. Advisory groups provide students with an extra layer of adult and peer support as they navigate the high school years.

The purpose of advisory groups is to model the care for our students that Christ shows each of us so that we can be a guide for our students as they grow in stature, wisdom, and favor with God and each other. The Landmark Christian School Advisory Program seeks to accomplish a variety of goals such as:

  • Supporting student culture through programming about virtue, character, and issues students face.
  • Mentoring students.
  • Building rapport between faculty and students.
  • Helping students incorporate Landmark Christian School core values into their daily lives.

We are passionate about the concept that each student deserves to be known, valued, and cared for. As educators who love young people, the advisory program gives us a great opportunity to have meaningful, often fun, consistent interactions with our students so that they are more fully known, supported, and equipped to live full lives and to go out and impact the world for Jesus Christ.

Kingdom Impact

Serving others is an integral part of a Landmark education, and students in every grade level have the opportunity to participate in multiple service projects throughout each school year at an age-appropriate level. Some of our regular opportunities include:

Serve Week

High School students participate in specific service activities both on campus and off campus in service to others. High School students have a unique opportunity to help Elementary students as part of the Landmark family during their times of service.

Through regular service, Landmark students learn that they have the opportunity and calling to be a blessing to others, and they have the opportunity to make an impact.

Campbell Field Day

We have the pleasure of hosting the students and faculty of Campbell Elementary School for a day of fun, every year.

Campbell and Landmark students and faculty parade from Campbell to Landmark and the Fairburn police and fire departments lead the way as field day begins.

Games, encouragement, service, and care fill the day with the love of Christ, making an impact on our community.

Mission Trips

Our students have a global impact. Landmark currently offers five school-sponsored international mission trips per year in which our high school students can participate. During fall break Landmark students travel to Mexico to build a house for a family in need. Over winter break, students travel to schools in Kenya, to Haiti to a home for abandoned or runaway boys, and to Romania to an orphanage. Over spring break, a team travels to the remote mountains of Honduras to provide hope and support to the severely impoverished. During these trips, students work to provide comfort in words and actions, share the Gospel, and reach beyond the classroom not only impacting others but most often returning home with a life-changing experience.
