    The elementary camp is intended for grades 2-5, with no prior experience needed. In this camp footwork, court movement, and motor skills development receive lots of attention. We do drills and play games that teach the basics of volleyball, laying a foundation for all volleyball skills. The goal of this clinic is to teach the fundamentals of volleyball to young athletes while also instilling a love for the game by creating an opportunity for them to learn and grow in a fun, structured, and encouraging environment.

The basics are covered, but the focus is on developing and advancing volleyball skills through drills and competitive gameplay. Prior experience is optimal, but not necessary.

    Camp Description:
    Explore garment construction and channel your creativity while giving new life to old clothes! This camp is meant to advance the design skills of current students with a variety of sewing techniques and creative problem solving to make old things new.

    Additional Information:

    Students should wear form-fitting clothes for ease of trying on projects. Students should bring 3-6 items of old or thrift-store clothing to transform into something new. Items that work well to remake are men's button-up shirts, sweatshirts, T-shirts.

    Camp Description:
    On The Court camps are different from any other current sports camps. One of the main differences is the coaching staff. We have coaches who love kids and are enthusiastic about attaining a successful life. Their aim is to build your child’s confidence, teach great fundamentals, and impact their lives. We work hard to help athletes recognize what it means to be intense and to play with mental toughness. Hard work, discipline, perseverance and teamwork are all key teaching points at On The Court!

    Students should bring a water bottle, a snack, and comfortable clothing!

  • Ukulele - Getting Started and More!

    Camp Description:
    Students will learn basic chords and strum patterns on the ukulele. Students will also learn some fun songs to start off with!

Things to know. . .

  • Students should bring their own water bottles, snacks, and mask(s) for all camps/courses. Please see individual camp  /course descriptions for other items the student should bring. 
  • Week-long LCS run sports camp participants will receive a sports team tee shirt.
  • The deadline to register for a camp/course is the Monday of the preceding week.
  • Camps/courses do have minimum numbers of students required to register in order for the camp to be offered. 
  • All participants must submit online registration. No cash or check payments, please.
  • All camps/clinics are open to the general public. High School courses with permission of administration are open to the public.
  • If a student signs up for a morning and afternoon camp/course during the same week, the school will provide lunch and supervision in the cafeteria from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. Elementary and Middle School students will be escorted to lunch and then to their afternoon camp/course. Note: If your child has special food allergies/intolerance, you may want to send a sack lunch instead.
  • If you register for "On the Court" Basketball Camp, or "Camp Invention", our partner camps, some of the prices and details will be different. Please see the camp descriptions for more details. These camps do not come with an LCS sports camp t-shirt and lunch is not provided.
